Spring is here. Easter and Kentucky Derby getting ready to enter your minds in that foodie kind of vision or fog depending on your senses. Today we're priming the pump of imagination with a retro-look in the mirror of last years spring inspired creations.

Yes Bacon wrapped Peeps and Dr. Jack's Mint Julep Cake. Make a tray of bacon wrapped peeps, warm em' up slightly and top them on a fried egg over a waffle and drizzle with maple syrup. Absolutely the best train wreck breakfast a kid could love.

For dessert how about a chocolate bundt cake with a bit of bourbon, some Dr. Jack's Mint Julep Mix, toasted pecans and some Andes mint pieces. Enjoy!
